What we collect

• Enquiry details — the name, email address, phone number and message you submit through our forms.
• Application data — organisation details, learning materials and credentials supplied during provider registration or activity assessment.
• Technical data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Why we use it

We use enquiry and application data solely to respond to you, carry out assessment, maintain the public register and administer renewals. Technical data is used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except where a service provider (such as our email host) processes it on our behalf under contract.

The public register

Accredited providers, trainers and activities are listed publicly with the details needed for verification: organisation or trainer name, activity title, accreditation number, CPD hours and status. Personal contact details are never published.

How long we keep it

General enquiries are retained for up to 24 months. Assessment records and accreditation history are retained for the life of the accreditation plus six years, so that historic certificates remain verifiable.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, request erasure where we have no ongoing lawful basis to retain it, or object to particular processing. Email us and we will respond within one calendar month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies required for the site to function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to count page visits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
