Terms & Conditions

1. Using this website
Content on accredocpd.co.uk is provided for information. We take care to keep it accurate but make no warranty that it is complete or current at all times. Nothing here constitutes legal, regulatory or professional advice; where a professional body sets CPD requirements, always confirm those requirements with the body itself.
2. Registration and assessment
Provider registration is free and does not itself confer accreditation of any activity. Activities are accredited only after assessment and written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline registration or accreditation where the applicant or activity does not meet our published standard, and to request further evidence at any stage.
3. Fees
Assessment fees are quoted in writing before work begins and are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed. Fees cover the assessment process itself and are not contingent on a successful outcome; where a submission does not pass, feedback and one resubmission are included at no further charge.
4. Use of the Accredo seal
The Accredo seal, marks and accreditation numbers remain our property and are licensed to you for the duration of a valid accreditation only. You may use the seal on marketing for the specific accredited activity, provider or trainer to which it was issued. You may not alter the mark, apply it to activities that have not been accredited, imply accreditation of your wider portfolio, or continue using it after an accreditation expires or is withdrawn.
5. Duration, renewal and withdrawal
Accreditation runs for twelve months from the date of approval unless stated otherwise, and is renewable subject to review. We may withdraw an accreditation where content has materially changed without notification, where the standard is no longer met, where the seal has been misused, or where fees remain unpaid. Withdrawal is recorded on the public register.
6. Provider responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit, for delivering the activity as described, for issuing certificates only to those who genuinely completed it, and for notifying us of significant changes to accredited content within 30 days.
7. Liability
Accreditation is an assessment of learning quality against our published standard. It is not a guarantee of commercial outcome, learner performance, or acceptance by any particular professional body. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the accreditation in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with an assessment outcome or our service, write to us setting out the issue. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to resolve them within twenty. Assessment decisions may be appealed once, and appeals are reviewed by an assessor not involved in the original decision.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
