Become an Accredo Accredited Provider
Provider registration is the front door to accreditation. It is free, it takes one short application, and it tells us your organisation is ready to deliver professional learning worth accrediting.
What provider registration involves
Before we assess any individual course or event, we look at the organisation behind it. Our provider review checks that you have genuine subject expertise, a settled way of designing and delivering learning, and a commitment to keeping material accurate and current.
You do not need to be a large training company. Independent consultants, small studios, colleges, charities and corporate learning teams all sit on our register. What matters is the quality of what you teach — not the size of your organisation.
What you receive
- A unique provider number and listing on the public Accredo register
- The right to submit courses, events and programmes for accreditation
- The Accredo Provider mark for your website and proposals
- A named assessor who knows your organisation and subject area
- Renewal reminders so your status never quietly lapses

What we ask of you
Registration asks for your organisation details, the sectors you serve, examples of your learning materials and the credentials of the people who design and deliver them. If anything is missing we will tell you plainly what to add — the aim is to get good providers registered, not to catch anyone out.
Questions people ask about this
What is an accredited CPD provider?
An accredited CPD provider is an organisation whose credentials, subject expertise and learning design processes have been independently assessed and listed on a public register. Provider status is the gateway to submitting individual activities — it does not, by itself, accredit everything the organisation produces.
How do I get my course CPD accredited?
Register as a provider — free, with no obligation — then submit the course with its learning objectives, materials, duration, intended audience and trainer credentials. An assessor reviews it against the published standard, and approved courses receive an accreditation number, a seal and a register listing.
How much does CPD accreditation cost?
Accredo provider registration is free. Activity accreditation is priced per item and published openly: courses from GBP 295, e-learning from 345, webinars from 175, events from 395, podcasts from 95 per episode, publications from 145 per article, and trainer accreditation from 145 per year. Renewal is 60% of list.
What providers say
We accredit around forty courses a year. Every one gets read by a person, and we can point clients at a register entry rather than asking them to take our word for it.

The assessment feedback was the useful part. Our first submission came back with three specific points about learning objectives, and fixing them made the course genuinely better — not just accreditable.

Delegates ask about CPD hours before they ask about the speakers. Having an assessed figure on the certificate removed the single biggest objection in our registration flow.
