How much does CPD accreditation cost?
Short answer
Accredo provider registration is free. Activity accreditation is priced per item and published openly: courses from GBP 295, e-learning from 345, webinars from 175, events from 395, podcasts from 95 per episode, publications from 145 per article, and trainer accreditation from 145 per year. Renewal is 60% of list.
Full rates for every format are published on the pricing page, including bulk tiers — the per-course rate falls to around GBP 195 at ten courses, and podcast episodes to GBP 65 on a full series.
Fees cover the assessment itself rather than the outcome. Where a submission does not pass, written feedback and one resubmission are included — you are paying for the review, not buying a seal. There is no per-certificate or per-learner charge, and verification is free for anyone.
For market context, single-course accreditation across UK bodies that publish prices currently runs roughly GBP 200 to 600, falling to GBP 130 to 250 per course on bulk tiers, with renewals typically 60 to 80 per cent of the original fee.
Be cautious of accreditation priced as a flat annual licence with unlimited activities and no per-activity review. It is cheaper for a reason: nobody is reading the courses.
