How long does CPD accreditation take?
Short answer
Most complete submissions to Accredo receive an initial assessment outcome within two to three weeks. Where revisions are needed, the total depends on how quickly updated materials are returned. Providers working to a launch date should submit at least four to six weeks ahead.
The single biggest cause of delay is an incomplete first submission — missing trainer credentials, an unstated duration, or objectives written as a topic list. A complete pack assessed once is faster than a thin pack assessed three times.
For events, submit the draft programme early even if speakers are not finalised; the hours assessment can usually proceed in parallel with your final line-up.
